The Nutcracker Rush

The Nutcracker Rush was my first ever Game Jam project, as part of the 2025 Boss Rush Game Jam with the theme of ‘spin’. I worked as Creative Lead and Design Lead on this project, where I worked with other designers to create a game adaptation of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s iconic ballet, The Nutcracker. My main responsibilities with this project were drafting the documentation for the team to refer to, handling level design for the two bosses, as well as other aspects of design including UI and Systems. I was also responsible for delegating tasks between the designers and artists, as part of my duties as Creative Lead on the project.
