This was my very first project made inside of Maya software. For this very short demo, I drew up some sketches of the main character and environment the demo would need. From there, I learned how to create a human model from shapes, using my sketches as a reference for the appearance, rigged it to a human skeleton, built the set, and animated the entire demo myself.

The biggest struggle with this project, aside from the steep learning curve of learning Maya with no prior experience using similar software, was bringing my initial sketch to life with the 3D model. While the facial features are a tad rough, the animations, look of the set, and general mood I intended to go with from the beginning all turned out well.
